Celebrate the official launch of Strong Like Bull, the new memoir by World Champion bowler and 3x Hall of Famer Diandra Asbaty.
While rooted in the bowling world, Strong Like Bull is written for anyone pursuing an ambitious goal. It explores the pressure before defining moments, the losses that shape character, the realities of motherhood, and the journey to uncover identity beyond competition.
Each ticket includes a selection of light bites and a beverage, with signed copies available for purchase.

Join us for an unforgettable culinary experience at Ox Bar & Hearth during our Chef Collaboration Dinner Series. We are teaming up with renowned Chef Jason Hammel of Lula Cafe, who will be cooking alongside our own Chef John Asbaty.
This unique tasting event blends pioneering Chicago farm-to-table expertise with our signature live-fire hearth techniques. Guests will enjoy a welcome cocktail and passed appetizers before sitting down to a meticulously crafted five-course late-fall harvest menu.
Tickets are $125 per person, with an optional $65 wine pairing. Space is highly limited for our hearth-side seating.

Pumpkin Carving & Halloween Storytime
The patio came alive as the community gathered for an afternoon with pumpkin carving, live demonstrations, and an intimate reading and meet-and-greet with an author. Guests lingered over the warmth of the seasonal brunch menu, complemented by autumn-inspired drinks.
Paul Virant x Ox Bar & Hearth
James Beard–nominated chef and author Paul Virant hosted an exclusive one-night dinner highlighting seasonal dishes inspired by his cookbook. The event featured an opening cocktail reception followed by a five-course meal in collaboration with Chef John Asbaty.
Dear Margaret x Ox Bar & Hearth
Ox Bar & Hearth teamed up with neighborhood favorite Dear Margaret for an exclusive collaborative dinner. The event celebrated peak seasonal ingredients brought together through two distinct culinary perspectives around the live-fire hearth.
Father’s Day Brunch
Chef John Asbaty hosted our first-ever Father’s Day Brunch BBQ with bourbon tastings, champagne, and expert grilling demos. Families gathered for a wood-fired feast featuring smoked prime rib, house-made sausages, and seasonal sides.
Mother’s Day Brunch
Guests celebrated Mother’s Day during the official debut of Ox Bar & Hearth's Sunday brunch service. Chef John Asbaty presented signature hearth-cooked holiday specials paired with fresh pastries from Fat Peach Bakery.
American Wine Festival
Ox Bar & Hearth marked the official opening of its patio by hosting the inaugural American Wine Festival. Wine enthusiasts gathered outdoors to sample over 90 domestic wines paired with small bites and insights from visiting winemakers.
Jean Banchet’s 2026 Chef of the Year, John Manion, joined chef John Aspaty in a celebration of live-fire cooking. This event united two masters of the hearth for a menu driven by open flame, deep smoke, and bold, layered flavor.
